Several scientific studies have shown that failures in communication and mismanagement of human factors within medical teams are, just as is the case in a cockpit, responsible for as much as 70% of errors.

CRM, or the management of Human Factors :


CRM - Crew Ressource Management -, since it has been introduced in collaboration with NASA, has enabled an 86% decrease in the risk of dying in an airplane crash since the early 90's.

With such results, pilot training in human factors management has become mandatory, and it is one of the important skills that every pilot must demonstrate twice a year during his licence revalidation exams.
